PRODUCER STATIC MAJOR PASSES AWAY

It’s been reported that producer Static Major (real name Stephen Garrett) died yesterday in Louisville, Kentucky.

At the start of his musical career Static was a member of Swing Mob (Jodeci star Devante’s creation) and formed close ties with former members, Missy Elliott, Timbaland, and Ginuwine.

Static’s most successful work was for Aaliyah, whose single “Try Again” was a worldwide smash. He also worked with R&B group Pretty Ricky, Mary J Blige and recently collaborated with Lil Wayne on the track ‘I Got Mine’.

The cause of death has yet to be determined.

    thats just messed up i dint know him at first but i do like his music and i have some people who died but its alright just be strong dont give up.and as for the fans be strong hes in a better place now and i do know how it feels if somebody special dies so fans and family dont give up u and him will meet again when your time is up…

    It’s very sad news when you hear something like this i lots my brother and mother it’s something you can never get over but you have to be strong and find some way to hold on just keep the time you had together in your heart though you he will live on and never be forgot….My heart go out to his family and friends…………….
