UK FILM NEWS: ‘ADULTHOOD’

British born actor/writer, Noel Clarke is back with the new British film ‘Adulthood’, the sequel to the hit film ‘Kidulthood.

I really enjoyed ‘Kidulthood’. It was nice seeing up and coming young black British talent runnng rampant on the big screen. Plus the film did a good job of portraying the problems inner city youth face here on a daily basis. Problems which are often brought on by their own foolish/dumb acts.  

I therefore look forward to seeing the sequel and I hope I won’t be disappointed.

*Note: When I originally promoted the sequel news to this film back in February on Mad News (see above), I didn’t even get a word of thanks or acknowledgement from Mr Clarke.

I bet if I worked for a tabloid newspaper or for a mainstream magazine (who really couldn’t care less), I would have received a shout out, flowers, chocolates AND free tickets to the premiere.

But it’s all good! I’m not bitter! That’s just how black media folk in relatively comfortable positions roll here in the UK.
