UK ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: URBAN MUSIC AWARDS UNDER POLICE INVESTIGATION

It’s been reported that the Metropolitan Police are currently investigating the organisers behind the annual Urban Music Awards, after staff allegedly created fake MTV email accounts, contacted major corporations and requested sponsorship for this years event.

    so…they tried to trick major corps into thinking they were sponsoring an MTV event? Or were they trying to pretend MTV were asking major corps to sponsor the UMAs? Either way…what the heck were they thinking?! If this is true then it shows that the organisers are on the same level as the people who disrupted it last year.

    Yeah, I bet they just used Hotmail accounts and just changed the profile “from” names to “MTV Base” or something!

    wow! I was at the awards last year at the indigo 02 when fighting broke out. It was such a shambles!
